Service Description
This self‑guided motocross hire session is ideal for solo riders, couples and small groups exploring Pinjar State Forest at their own pace. Riders can select Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced zones based on confidence and skill. Hire is only for riders who already know how to operate a bike safely without supervision and can manage the terrain independently. All participants must complete a mandatory site trial before any bike is released. The instructor checks balance, throttle control, braking, cornering and general awareness to confirm each rider can handle the forest’s mixed terrain. If a rider cannot meet the minimum safety standard, the bike will not be provided. First‑time and early riders must upgrade to a guided lesson package to receive proper coaching before entering the trails. Hire bookings remain non‑refundable if a rider does not pass the assessment. Pinjar offers beginner loops and more technical intermediate and advanced sections. The instructor will recommend suitable areas based on ability, ensuring riders explore terrain that matches their skill level. All bikes are GPS‑tracked for safety and monitoring throughout the forest, allowing staff to respond quickly if assistance is required. Arrive 15–30 minutes early with valid photo ID and a physical credit card for the security bond. A safety briefing, waiver and gear fitting are mandatory. Full protective gear is provided, bikes are professionally maintained, and video, photos and drones are welcome where safe and permitted within the forest. Children aged 8+ may participate, and riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also joining the session. This ensures younger riders receive proper supervision, complete the required checks and meet all safety requirements before entering the trails.
Cancellation Policy
Before Your Session: Arrive 15–30 minutes early – late arrival (>15 min) may shorten your time or, for groups, start without you. No refunds for lateness or no-shows. Security Bond – $250 AUD per bike/rider pre-authorised on physical credit card only (no cash/debit). Fully refundable upon return of the bikes and gears with no damage. MANDATORY : Bring valid photo ID. NO CREDIT CARD or NO ID = NO BIKE = NO REFUND. On Arrival Arrive 15–30 min early. Read & sign waiver. Provide photo ID + emergency contacts. Get fitted with gear. Attend mandatory briefing / instruction. ALL ABOVE STEPS REQUIRED – no exceptions.
