Service Description
Each hire session includes 30 minutes for admin, bond payment, waiver, gear‑up and safety briefing, followed by self‑guided riding time in Pinjar State Forest. This hire option is ideal for solo riders, couples and small groups who want to explore the forest at their own pace. Riders may choose Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced zones depending on confidence and skill. Hire is only for riders who already know how to operate a bike safely without supervision and can manage mixed terrain independently. All participants must complete a mandatory site trial before any bike is released. The instructor checks balance, throttle control, braking, cornering and general awareness to confirm each rider can safely navigate the forest. If a rider does not meet the minimum safety standard, the bike cannot be provided. First‑time and early riders must upgrade to a guided lesson package. Hire bookings remain non‑refundable if a rider fails the assessment. Pinjar includes beginner loops and more technical intermediate and advanced sections. Based on the assessment, the instructor will recommend suitable areas for the group. All bikes are GPS‑tracked for safety and monitoring throughout the forest. Riders must arrive 15–30 minutes early with valid photo ID and a physical credit card or cash for the bond. A safety briefing, waiver and gear fitting are mandatory. Full protective gear is provided, bikes are professionally maintained, and video, photos and drones are welcome where safe and permitted. Children aged 8+ may participate, and riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also joining the session. This ensures younger riders receive proper supervision and complete the required checks before entering the trails.
Cancellation Policy
Before Your Session: Arrive 15–30 minutes early – late arrival (>15 min) may shorten your time or, for groups, start without you. No refunds for lateness or no-shows. Security Bond – $250 AUD per bike/rider pre-authorised on physical credit card or Cash (NO DEBIT CARD !!). Fully refundable upon return of the bikes and gears with no damage. MANDATORY : Bring valid photo ID. NO ID or NO BOND = NO BIKE = NO REFUND. On Arrival Arrive 15–30 min early. Read & sign waiver Provide photo ID. Get fitted with gear. Attend mandatory briefing / instruction. ALL ABOVE STEPS REQUIRED – no exceptions. Safe riding! 🏍️ Requirements: -Age 8+ (minors need guardian). -Disclose health conditions (if applicable). -No alcohol/drugs (alcotest) NO BIKE and NO REFUND to any client under alcohol/drug. -Private insurance/ travel insurance recommended.
